In LC patients, infectious complications are characterized by a severe course; destruction foci, decay cavities, and abscess may form.All give rise to difficulties in making a diagnosis and in choosing a treatment policy. Infections caused by P. aeruginosa, A. baumanii, bacteria of the family Enterobacteriacae, S. aureus, and Enterococcus spp present the greatest problem in inpatients with LC. The early diagnosis of infectiouscomplications and the use of adequate schemes of antibiotic prevention and therapy promote a reduction in mortality from infection in this categoryof patients and expand the possibilities of their specific antitumor treatment.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Ежегодно в России раком легкого (РЛ) заболевают 63–65 тыс., а в мире — 1,04 млн человек, что составляет 12,8 % от всех регистрируемых случаев новообразований. Инфекционные осложнения у больных РЛ характеризуются тяжелым течением, возможно формирование очагов деструкции, полостей распада, абсцедирование. Все это создает трудности при постановке диагноза и выборе тактики лечения. Наибольшую проблему у больных РЛ в стационаре представляют инфекции, вызванные P. aeruginosa, A. baumanii, бактериями семейства Enterobacteriacae, S. aureus и Enterococcus spp. Ранняя диагностика инфекционных осложнений, назначение адекватных схем антибиотикопрофилактики и терапии способствуют снижению уровня летальности от инфекции у данной категории пациентов и расширению возможности проведения им специфического противоопухолевого лечения.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>lung cancer</kwd><kwd>chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases</kwd><kwd>infectious complications</kwd><kwd>infections</kwd><kwd>antibacterial therapy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак легкого</kwd><kwd>хронические обструктивные заболевания легких</kwd><kwd>инфекционные осложнения</kwd><kwd>инфекции</kwd><kwd>антибактериальная терапия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">1.
